Always had american cars like Ford/Mercury, Chrysler, except for a Toyota Corolla when I was in my early 20s. At my "mid-life crisis" I bought a 5-series BMW, and I'm not going back to anything else. At the dealer I get excellent, kiss-ass service, when the work is completed, BMW Corp.

As a health care provider I see it this way: if you can afford to pay more you will receive faster, "better" care. If you can't, tough luck, you're on your own. On of the problems in our Country is that health care revolves around a rather simple frame of thinking: who can pay vs.

Maybe they have money? In case some people didn't know, if you have 1 million dollars you can buy yourself a U.S. Green Card, but I'm not sure how much background investigating they do!

MamaMN, as a health care professional I hope your daughter will never be struck by some terrible illness or accident. But if she did and was unable to pay her bills, I'm sure you would. You would mortgage your house and sell everything you own without batting an eye, and that's what I'd do also.

Just a question to the people who don't want to be forced into buying insurance; to the people who want to remain with no coverage whatsoever. Suppose (and this could happen in a New York minute) that everything is going just peachy for you.

Once again, panic in the camp, the media trying to create sensationalism out of every inch of this health reform proposal. Enough, please. Med schools will churn out more doctors; nursing schools will provide more nurses. Nurse practitioners will be a god-sent -as they are now.
